Counseling Service Style

A guiding fact of my life is the presence of a family. While our blood relatives are given from birth, by “family” I am referring to those that love you and those you love - those that impact your overall well-being on a regular basis. As I’ve aged, my family has grown and changed, though each member remains an active force in the sense of “who I am,” My present encounters mingle and interact with the memories of my past, shaping the future I am granted to enjoy.

I am thankful for my blood family. I am thankful for the family I received through marriage and childbirth. I am thankful for the Family of God. And I am thankful for the family members that come in and out of my life at just the moment(s) I need them.

So, whether you see me as a son, as a father, as a brother, or as a friend, I am thankful we are all connected and are filled with power to affect each other for the good. It is through this lens that I offer my counsel and my services.

“God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy.”

(Psalm 68:6, New Living Translation)
